Washington Wineries
People, Regions and Issues Surounding the Washington Wine Industry
Most Washington wineries are located around the 46°N latitude, just one degree north of Oregon's best wineries, and along the same latitude as the French regions of Burgundy and Bordeaux. The Washington wine regions differ in climate, but they all produce some of the most recognizable and distinct wines in the western US. We at Avalon Wine have a special place in our hearts (and palates) for these WA wines and we're happy to profile some of the key wineries in the region.
